EVERYTHING HAS TWO SIDES: THE WANTED AND THE UNWANTED

The side that has your attention affect how you feel.

  • If you focus on the wanted side you feel great.

  • If you focus on the unwanted side you feel less great.

You can not control the two sides but you can control which sides that you focus your attention on.

If you start to feel that your emotions are a bit off, check in with yourself where your focus is at. Are you highlighting:

  • What’s not working

  • What’s going wrong

  • What you don’t want

  • What’s missing in your life

What you focus on will grow so it’s crucial to learn to manage your attention. When you know what you don’t want you also know what you do want. Changing your point of attention to the things you want to create in your life will change the way you feel.

You will have a pull to create a more appealing future rather than trying to escape a less appealing past.

Challenge yourself to find the wanted in the unwanted situation? 

When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at changes.
